Hotels Drop In House Porn – Because of Streaming

It might seem worrisome to porn fans that most hotel chains have left pornography out of their television choice offerings. In the past, it used to be that you could order up some XXX pay-per-view on your hotel room TV and pay the bill upon leaving, with no one the wiser. However, in the past few years, many hotel chains have stopped doing this, removing porn from their TV choices. This is all happening around the same time that many wi-fi enabled stores and cafes such as Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A and Mickey D’s decided to block porn access to those using their wifi.

While the cafes seem to simply want to block porn, the hotels are benefiting from getting rid of porn on their TV systems, because now they have a more wholesome image, though, in reality, this decision was probably influenced by the fact that it is so easy to stream porn from your personal laptop via a hotel’s wifi network. In fact, the Hilton hotel chain went so far as to say “We believe in offering our guests a high degree of choice and control during their stays with us, including Wi-Fi on personal devices.” in their statement about removing porn from their entertainment systems, proving that customers may even prefer to browse porn more discreetly on their laptops and smartphones over wifi anyways! Many industry analysts agree saying that removing porn was a win-win for hotels. People weren’t really buying it, so the hotels get to save money by not having to get the content, and they get to look like pious, wholesome business people.

The numbers back this data up without question. According to an article online, on-demand porn in hotel rooms fell 12% just between 2013 and 2014. Income from on demand movies fell from $1.07 per booked room in the year 2000 to $0.72 in 2009. One can only guess that now in 2016 it had fallen even lower – so low that it wasn’t even worth it to offer such a service. However, hotels are smart enough that they have replaced the income which previously came from pay per view with something else: the premium internet speeds you need for streaming. Most people know that you have to pay if you want fast enough speeds to stream video at a hotel!

While some hotel workers worry that old people won’t know how to find porn without pay per view systems, most business travelers are doing just fine using their own personal devices to find their favorite XXX materials even more discreetly than ever! With all the variety that is out there, why would anyone want to be relegated to the few choices on a hotel entertainment system? The internet is full of any kind of porn anyone could ever want to watch, so it is a much better choice that you can use anywhere you have wi-fi or reception to watch porn!
